x4 750k, 6670 1gb gddr5, 8gb ram...will this be enough for games on low or med settings?

can i play games with this mostly on low or med settings and 1280x720 res?
full hd isn't even an option since 1440x900 is the max for me :)

You should be able to play at 1280x720, probably on medium or even higher in a lot of games (but not the latest).
If you have room in your budget for it, check out a GDDR5 version of the HD7750 instead; they're not much more expensive. I have used that card (although with a faster CPU) to play GW2 at 1600x900 on a mix of medium and high settings.

Probably should work ok...you'll most likely want a better GPU though, go for at least the Radeon 7570 or 7750. If possible, get an FX-4300 or -6300 CPU as well. But the main thing to focus on is a better GPU.
