Can a R7260x be installied ina HP IPISB-CU 'Carmel-2 Motherboard?

Solution
ok, then i say just upgrading the psu when adding the gpu is fine. Next time you upgrade though the mother board and cpu should be the first things to go (they will end up bottlenecking). Just save the rest of the $400 or buy buy a few games :)

Physically yes. You will use the pci express x 16 slot.

HoweverI would recommend upgrading your motherboard since the ones from HP or dell aren't really meant to be upgraded. A better motherboard will provide better stability and really help the system out.

I would recommend an i5 from intel or from AMD the fx 6300.

However I'm not aware of your budget for updating the rig
