Hello,
When I lose internet access I also lose the ability to connect to the other computers I have on my network. I assume this is because I am using a modem/router combo (Sagemcom 2864). Unfortunately, I can't find any tech spec's online to link for this modem.
I guess I'm wondering what my options are to fix this. Do I disable to router on the Sagemcom 2864, and hook up a separate router? Or do I use a hub?
Let's say my budget is between $50 and $500.
Devices I have on my network:
Mac
PC
iPad
2 iPhones
Xbox 360
Xbox One
TV with a built-in DLNA client
Linux server that stores all my media and streams it to all previously mentioned devices..
