I'm having problems with a second hand (but under warranty) HD7770.

I have installed the card, 6pin power plugged in, green light on card is on and fans are spinning, however my computer fails to recognise it.

I've tried looking in Device manager, GPU-Z and CPU-Z but it just isn't there and wont output via DVI.

My specs:
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200
RAM: 2GB DDR2 @ 388 MHz
PSU: 500W OCZ
MB: ASUS V-M2NC61P
OS: Windows 7 32 bit

Is it just that the MOBO doesn't support this card? I can't find specs detailing whether its PCI-E or PCI-E 2.0.

Solution
Well there's no real issue of incompatibility with motherboard. If you wish to be certain you can test the card in another PC (if possible) but it will likely be necessary to invoke the warranty on the card.

CEX (Computer Exchange) in UK. They give a 1 year warranty; I bought it today so I have 30 days to exchange it if it isn't faulty.

Ok, an update:

I went back to the store and explained my problem, they tested the card and it worked fine with their setup. Despite this i decided to exchange it for a HD7770 Ghz Edition 1GB.

I plugged the new card in and it does output to my monitor. After re-installing the drivers and rebooting, the new card works fine.

A side note: I also upgraded my RAM to 5GB. Though I doubt this is what made the difference.

Thanks for your advice SchizTech. :)
