Hi there,
I'm looking to piece together a system from NCIX, I'm sure most people have vastly greater experiences with this than I do, so any input is more than appreciated :)

Looking into a powerful gaming desktop, budget listed below.

1. My first question is what do people think of the new DDR4 ram? I was told I could get the slots on the motherboard open for DDR4 for future upgrade, while purchasing DDR3 now due to budget limits, not sure if this is even possible?

2. I was also recommended to get an SSD by itself, or get an SSD for booting and HDD for storage.

3. Looking to get a power supply that is happy to game rather than struggle along.

4. Thoughts on graphics card, sound card, cooling system?

5. Hoping to make something that will persist and last for quite some time, while still being relatively top of the line. I imagine this might be asking for too much given the budget below :)

6. Budget 600 - 800 canadian (I don't need a monitor, mouse, keyboard or speakers)

cheers
