EVGA GTX 770 - No Signal to Monitor

I built a PC back in the summer, but didn't need a graphics card at the time. I have recently purchased an EVGA GTX 770 2GB Version and a new Corsair CX600 PSU to go with it (I had an old crappy Raidmax one which I don't trust). However, when I put the card in ANY of the PCI-E slots on my motherboard the PC boots, the fans on the cards start spinning, but it says there is no signal to the monitor. At first I just had VGA plugged into the monitor with a VGA to DVI-I adapter plugged into the DVI port on the card. That didn't work so I bought a DVI-D to DVI-D cable, and that doesn't work when plugged into the DVI-I or DVI-D ports on my graphics card, put it does work when I plug it into the DVI-D port on my motherboard.

I don't know what to do at this point. I don't think my monitor is the problem because it works with VGA and DVI-D when plugged into my motherboard. I don't think the power supply is the problem because the fans spin up when I turn it on, but it might be (I could try with the Raidmax but I'm scared of it not being able to handle the GPU). It might be the graphics card, or it might be that none of the PCI-E slots on my motherboard don't work. Either this or I'm just doing something wrong. This is my first time building a PC and installing a graphics card, I think I know what I'm doing but I might be making some rookie mistake. Any help will be appreciated!

Solution
So you used integrated gpu before?
Connect monitor back to motherboard, enter bios and find GPU settings. Select PCIE card as first one, and disable integrated, or set it to auto.

Yes, I have done that and tried swapping the two around, as both cables are 6+2 pin.

This was already enabled, but I ended up looking at some other threads and fiddling with the motherboard. I eventually just reset the UEFI to default and it worked! Thanks everyone who tried to help me :)
