hey, i have ahitron router with an internet cable input and i bought a new tp link router with no place to put that cable !! how to make it work?

I suspect your current router is a modem and a router in the same device. When you have coax tv cable delivering your internet you must have a modem. It sounds like your new router is only a router so you must buy a modem that is compatible with your ISP, they generally have lists.

I suspect you can also make the current router be just a modem by setting it to bridge mode. Not sure I have never seen that brand before but it is a common feature. You can then plug your router into the old router using it only as a modem.

You of course can use the new router and the old router at the same time....it really depends why you purchased the new router.
