Hello there! Ive been having some issues with my SSD boot drive as of lately :( From time to time, I receive a Disk Read Error when trying to boot into my computer...sometimes it happens after the computer crashes after working and then will not boot due to the Disk Read Error! However, the only time the computer will boot and bypass the error is when when I open my case and unplug and reseat my boot drive, only then is the problem resolved for a day or two (sometimes weeks!) before the computer runs into the error or crashes and then runs into the error, to which it is fixed by a reseat. The sata connection on the SSD seems to be solid (no wobbling or loose parts) so would the issue be the cable itself?

Solution
could be a few errors. first is a firmware issues. see if there a firmware update but dont run it. most firmwares for ssd will wipe the drive on you. if there no firmware update you may want back your data up and do a secure erase to see if there a bad chip in the ssd. also before you wipe it run hdtune read your drive health if it has errors you may want rma it.
