I have a sr5223wm with a m2n68-la motherboard. The problem is I did a cpu upgrade from the sempron 3000+ to an athlon be-2350 and now any program (games in particular) do not run and the pc is slow. I reverted back to the old Sempron and that did not fix the problem. The question is is did I damage something deeper or is it a simple fix?

Ps. With the athlon, every program took about 45 seconds to open a window.
