Far Cry 3 Crashing

I picked up far cry 3 in the steam sale (if you haven't already you should do so to) My far cry 3 keeps crashing after about 20 minutes of playing, it says far cry 3 has stopped working, I have looked all over the internet and tried various different fixes, but none of them seem to have worked. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

this and battlefield 4 sometimes, but bf4 has been patched so i haven't had any more problems with that
i did crash once on borderlands 2 but that was after playing for a while

Then it's probably just the game.

Steam Client > right-click on the game title in the list > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache

^Resolves quite a few Steam issues.
Also check your system is using the latest WHQL sound and video drivers, downloaded directly from the manufacturers site.
If it persists, check the CPU and GPU temperatures under load.
And please, give us a list of what you have tried so we don't ask you to repeat solutions you've already employed.

just played about half hour, crashed, i am installing manufacturers drivers now, so i will see if that works, i have tried reinstalling game, manually patching, playing at dx9 instead of 11, so far none seem to have done anything, my gpu ran at about 80 degrees, dont know how to check cpu,

I'm beginning to suspect your card is unstable. Set your card to run at 876Mhz core clock.

bad pool header was the blue screen i got, did a bit of research and apparently its RAM related

what is the load of the card?
80c is relatively high, the card should run at 100% to get that level, and we are talking about the most powerful card outthere, this game should not be a problem for it to run at 100%

I reckon you to use a graphics card monitoring program, for example MSI afterburner, and see, how the load/usage moves when you are gaming.

getting 99% usage on farcry 3 menu, is that bad? 99 in game and 82 degrees

same problem friends. far cry 3 is crashing to desktop after 20 mins. recently i overclocked my hd 5570.is this the issue ? my gpu temp is 55 c on full load . so i think no heat issue. then wat may b the issue ? i m also playing outlast , it is running perfectly.
