Hi,

I bought Corsair Vengeance 4 GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM with a CAS latency of 9-9-9 for my ASrock G41M-VS3 Motherboard. Someone here said it will work by downgrading itself to 1333MHz. But the 4GB stick doesn't seem to work. Whenever I put it in the display doesn't show. Tried putting it with my existing RAM which is 1333MHz and without it. Same result. Please Help.

Let me tell you my complete specs. I have A core 2 quad q8400 2.66GHz with Asrock G41M-VS3 mobo and a Geforce 9400 GT Card. I was running a 2GB 1333Mhz RAM up til now. And I don't think the new RAM is faulty, although I will check on a friend's mobo. Tried an 8GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz before and it had the same problem but the RAM was fine. Didn't realize that my mobo only supported 8GB max. so bought the new one and now this. I think im missing a few settings coz I have researched all over the net and people have said that it should work.
