Hello all! So this is my first time trying to build a gaming/general use pc and I've done a lot of research on my own and i think i have a good build but i'm not too sure being my first time and all. So if anyone can give me confirmation that it's good to go or recommendations to get better parts/change things etc. Also i'm trying to stay a tad under 1,000 so if someone can makes this cheaper for me it would be much appreciated too! :) Thank you.

I am getting my case here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119197 a friend of will be getting it for me so it is not included in my price.

p.s. I asked this question on pcpicker.com but wanted to ask here too just in case.

The build looks okay and everything should work, but I'd change the PSU. While Corsair is a quality PSU manufacturer, their CX series are not the best. I'd recommend something from Seasonic, XFX, Corsair (except the CX series) or Antec. Also, if you are planning to overclock the CPU you will need an aftermarket CPU cooler. I'd recommend the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO.
