Might as well look at the 760 if you want to stay with NV also the 670 seems to be cheaper now as well. and will do better than just normal high.

if you can spend 500 then you can go for radeon hd 7950 or 7970 and if you can spend some more go for r9 290x and also gtx 780 is also a good one but not better than r9 290x.

GTX770 would be nice, if playing 1080p..., This will be an excellent upgrade. You'll be able to run with full details and AA for any game with smooth video.
ASUS recommended(ASUS GTX770-DC2OC-2GD5 GeForce GTX 770 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready SLI Support ).
De diference with GTX780 performance is negligible if you get some GTX770 EVGA superclocked version, it will perform very similar.

Do not upgrade this cpu for any reason the overclocking overhead it provides over newer chips negates the additional performance per clock available from new cpu's
