Hi,TH community!I have some questions to ask about graphics cards.Currently,I'm not gaming but I'll get a PC in the coming months and I'm confused about the GPU,GPUs in general and compatability. Here are my doubts:
1.First of all,is this http://www.snapdeal.com/product/gainward-geforce-gtx-65...;47 really the 650ti or is it the 650 ti boost as mentioned in the packaging? It seems way to cheap for a boost and I'm feeling greedy.:) Is it just a picture of the boost or is it actually the card itself for such a cheap price?
2.Is the AMD R7 260X OC overclocking friendly?Does it heat too much/consume too much power? And will I get quite a decent increase in fps if I overclock a gpu?
3.What feature will I lose if I mount a pclex16 3.0 gpu on a pclex16 2.0 slot?
4.Will higher video-memory in the gpu improve fps?
5.What would be required to harness the new trueaudio technology assuming we have a game that supports it?
Thank you everyone for replying!

1. That is the normal GTX 650Ti not the Boost version.

2. No R7 260x is not OC friendly, the card runs hot, so OC will be difficult in terms of heat, but technically it is over clock able. And yes it will consume some more power to OC. You may gain 5-10 FPS upon OC ing.

3. Technically you will loose some bandwidth, but in real world situation you will loose nothing, it will run smooth.

4. No. Higher VRAM is only good for multi monitor setup.

5. I don't know, may someone else knows.

These two are Boost version : 1. http://www.snapdeal.com/product/asus-nvidia-geforce-gtx...;2

2. http://www.snapdeal.com/product/zotac-nvidia-geforce-gt...;2

You are welcome. R9 270x will be better than R7 260x in terms of performance. And you will need a decent PSU to OC components.

What ever you do don't go with CM Thunder PSU, its a crap. CX500 of Corsair will do, its better than VS series. BTW which city you live in ?

I live in Trivandrum(pin 69xxxx).Okay,no thunder. But,CX is veery expensive............1000 rupees more than the VS 550 I'd planned to buy:http://www.flipkart.com/corsair-cx500m-500-watts-psu/p/... .And the other CX does not deliver to my location. But the VS 550 seems to be decent.Good user-reviews.
