whats a good cpu for this board

i have a lan dark dk 790fx m2rs motherboard and i heard that it can work with some am3 cpus and was wondering whats a good cpu to buy that will allow me to get two gtx 550s in sli without being bottlenecked right now i have a amd phenom 9850 and 4 gb of patriot ddr2 thanks for your time

can be used with the AM3 CPUs, 790FX chipset, reset button right on board.
You can try some Phenom II X6 versions, not sure it works

You can use any AM3 CPU since it's an AM2+ board but you can't use any AM3+ CPUs.
Since this is the case a phenom II X4 / X6 would be good

I think you will be more RAM bottlenecked cause DDR2 800 max speed your mobo supports.
There are other more important things to consider about that SLI, for instance power consumption, a GTX550ti SLI needs 500W Continuous Power PSU.
I also recommend the Phenom II X6 1100T CPU for getting better performance, and less bottlenecked.

That is a good speed, I mean been DDR2, So with any phenom II X4 / X6 you would be fine.
