I am looking at purchasing the Asrock fatal1ty z87 killer motherboard. In doing some research I found in the specs it supports only windows 7 and 8. I am upgrading since my old CPU and MB died, I have a vista 64 OS on the HD. Will this be a problem if i buy this board?

New CPU, new motherboard. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It may not boot at all. Or you may be chasing driver issues for weeks.
And if it is an OEM version of Vista, you will need a new one. That license would be tied to that original motherboard.
