Asus M5A97 R2.0 (Non-LE) vs. Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 vs. Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P

I've searched and looked for their differences. I found out that the Asus M5A97 R2.0 (Non-LE) is the best of the three with more ports and features while the Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 has lesser as well as the Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P.

Please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm having difficulty to find the Asus M5A97 R2.0 because it is not available on most retail shops I went, but one retail shop recommended me the Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P with the same-ish specs and price.

For your opinion, what are the differences between these MoBo's? Are Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 and Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P are on par with the Asus M5A97 R2.0 (Non-LE) and their quality differences too.

Thank you!

The Asus M5A97 is superior to the other 2 boards you listed. The M5A97 is a much more feature rich board, as well as having better on-board sound and supports higher memory overclocking.
It isn't really fair to compare the Asus M5A97 to those 2 boards. Its main competition is the Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P. The GA-970A-UD3P has more connectivity options on board than the M5A97 as well as sporting an 8+2 CPU power phase. Its superior to the Asus board in almost every way (and its about the same price).
It sounds like you already know that the M5A97 is the best of the 3 you listed, but it also sounds like you may not be able to find one. In that case I would get the Gigabyte board you listed. The LE version of the M5A97 is a dog of a board that should be avoided. Its lacking in many key features that the Gigabyte board has, as well as there are no heat sinks on the VRMs, which could cause you problems in the future.

This similar thread was comparing an Asus M5A97 R2.0 vs. AsRock 970 Extreme3 (which was recommended to me also in my other thread), but someone recommended the GA-970A-UD3 and picked it as the best solution.

Which of these motherboards is the best when it comes to quality, performance, and maybe the price also: Asus M5A97 R2.0, Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P, Gigabyte GA-970A-UDR, Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P, and AsRock 970 Extreme3 R2.0.

I'm kinda confused between their differences between quality, performance, durability, price, etc.
