Just a really quick question. Planning my watercooling build and ran into a mental roadblock here.

Everywhere I've read when using compression fittings is that the tubing ID and OD have to match the tubing ID and OD. I'm really interested in the primoflex blood red tubing. Anyways, I've managed to figure everything out I need, except this part.

These are the compression fittings that I am going to use with my setup.

But the way im reading this is that this means I require tubing with a 1/4" ID and 3/8" OD but I can't find much in terms of this tubing. Am I correct in the assumption that the ID and OD have to be exact matches?

When it comes to compression fittings, they have to be an exact match. When your using barb fittings you can use similar but not exact measurements (as long as the barb is larger than the tubing ID).
I suggest just changing your compressions, 1/4" is fairly small anyway.
