Hi i am planning to build up my first gaming rig. This is the currently planned out specs

-Palit Jetstream 770
-Cosair ballistix Tactical 16GB
-WD Black 1TB
-Cosair CX750
-CM Hyper TX EVO cpu cooler

Which is the best motherboard to go along with this set up? MSI g43/45, Asus Maximus V Gene, ASrock Extreme 4, or other recommendable mobo HELP PLS

Solution
whats your budget for it? i have to say the msi g45 is extremly good and would reccomend it, if it fits the budget.

also your psu. there is no need for a 750w one with the 770. i have one and it works perfectly on the cx600m, so you can save some money there. maybe helps you upgrade to a maximus vi hero or gd65

Hi, thanks for your reply. My budget for it will be below 600 SGD(the lower the better) . Hmmm good idea, let me calculate the price because the total budget for my rig will be at 1.8K SGD.

the current distributor i am following only have Z77 Asrock Extreme 4, MSI G43, and Asus Maximus V gene (All around the same price), However they have a larger variety for Z87s. I just need a good budget mobo below 600 SGD.

With regards to your recommended mobo, it's far over my budget. Good mobo tho!

Yeah, everything here is really too over priced. High cost of living here.... But anw, i have figured the MSI G45 with an Asus 770 OC... Do you think it's a good pair?

Hi, thanks for the advice but unfortunately, most sites don't ship here, or the currency exchange will sum up to about the same amount. Anw, what card would you recommend? The Palit which is cheapest and higher clock but low quality, or the Asus and Gigabyte windforce?

id say, get the fastest you can get. the board partners must always keep a bare minimum quality that nvidia specifies, so its not like it will die on you tomorrow :p

but if you do opt out of palit, id get the ASUS one. i have it in my brothers PC and i could overclock it waaay above palit clocks

I bought the Palit one. Already tested and compared it with my friend's Asus 780. Works pretty well so let's hope it maintains this way. Cheers!
