I have had several crashes at desktop(idle) and in games like AC 4 in the last two weeks. I have performed numerous tests on both video cards and they pass everytime. I have been in touch with EVGA support on those cards and there was a suggestion that I may be having a power issue. My voltage in the AsRock F-Stream utility at idle was something like 12.197 and during AC4 gamplay it was something like 12.083. Is that enough of a fluctuation to cause concern or instability? If I get a new P/S to test, 1200w should be MORE than enough right or should I really play it safe and get a 1500w.
My system:

AsRock Z68 Fatality Gen 3 MB
16GB Corsair Dominator 1866
2 EVGA GTX 780's 3GB running 2560x1440
Samsung SSD 750GB EVO
2 other standard HDD
Creative SB ZxR sound card
Corsair AX1200 P/S(3 years old)
Standard DVD/CD Rom burner
Standard media card reader
USB powered external DAC(better sound)

Solution
honestly 800w would suffice, but it really depends which brand. xfx, seasonic are the general good ones. 1000+ woudl be overkill
