I saw this link a day ago:
http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Daffa/saved/3aXm

It results in a very cheap PC that performs quite nicely and looks like a console. I like this setup. Will this do well with most games on low/medium? Could Skyrim handle 60 fps? I will be playing:
Minecraft
Rfactor
Skyrim
Bad Company 2
DayZ

And games like Dead Space 3, Tomb Raider on low would be ok with me.

Im also planning to do quite some video editing, and use AutoCAD for school. It's sounds like a decent solution for a cheap all-round PC. What do you guys think? Thanks to the guy that posted the link the other day.

Sounds brilliant. thanks man! Would it be better if I chose 2x4gb RAM instead or is 2x2 ideal for this build?

For the cost, it wouldn't give a justifiable performance boost, immediately, I would reccommend going for a semi modern CPU and motherboard atleast if you were to upgrade anything.
