I've been playing minecraft forever but it's getting too laggy for my computer now. What upgrade can I do to continue playing my favorite game? I have a $100-200 budget

Okay, so you should probably go with a graphics card - AMD Radeon 6450 to be exact. It should run fine on basically ANY PSU and should run Minecraft pretty well on your system. You may get the occasional lag spike but I've seen a system running an Athlon x2 and a 6450 playing Minecraft with around 50-60fps on the highest settings. I have a 220w PSU and an AMD athlon ii x2. Dunno about the motherboard. Just look up an el1358g-51w on newegg

I assume you have 2GB or more of ram? If so, then yeah, that should be all you need for Minecraft.
