So i just built my first pc and went into the bios menu. I have an amd fx 6300 3.5 ghz with the normal stock cooler. With the menu up, it shows anywhere from 55-60 degrees celcius. Is that too high?
Are the temps your provided at idle (doing nothing) or under load (gaming, apps etc)?
If the temps are 55-60 idle, that'a little warm. Have you cleaned the dust out recently? Do you have proper cooling for your case? Did you install the cpu cooler yourself?
No dust, 3 fans (2 rear, 1 front), and i touched the thermal paste thinking it was plastic but didnt remove it all off. I plan on getting a hyper 212 evo, will my cpu be ok for the next month with some gaming?
