Hello friends. This is my first time posting here. The problem I am experience is either with my GPU (MSI 780) or the PCI Express slot on my MB (GA-H67MA-USB3-B3). My GPU is not being detected by my computer, however the fans on the GPU are working properly. I have a DVI cable from my monitor plugged into the GPU and I can use the monitor but the resolution is only 1280x1024. I tried installing the latest drivers from Nvidia, but once the installation was finished and I was prompted to restart my computer my screen goes black and will not boot up. Any suggestions? Thank you very much for your time.

It think your monitor has a maximum resolution of 1280x1080. That is pretty normal, unless you got a really expensive and large monitor. Read the monitor's manual and it will tell you its maximum resolution.

It sounds like it was working properly before the driver update. Remove the GPU, then try booting in safe mode and removing or rolling back the drivers, then re-installing the new card using the original drivers.

If you can't get it working, it could be a hardware problem. Can you test the card in a buddy's machine?
If not, you may beed to take it to a local shop that has the resources to properly diagnose the problem.
