Well its been a few months since I last asked this question, but I've been playing some of the newer games (Assassin's Creed 4, etc) and my rig has done fairly well, but in some parts of AC4 and other games, I encounter terrible frame drops. I have just recently spent a lot of money on a new board (my old one died) and a new CPU.

Here are my specs:
CPU: i5 4670k Overclocked to 4.2ghz
CPU COOLER: Corsair H60
MOBO: Gigabyte Z87MX-D3H
GPU: EVGA 760GTX Superclocked 2gb Vram
PSU: Corsair CX750 (750watt)
HDD: 2T Seagate
CASE: (Don't hate, I like smaller cases.. I've also modded this case a lot as well)- Fractal Design Core 1000 USB3.

Should I upgrade anything? I recently heard that most companies are holding back on optimizing games for PC as us PC gamers can just "buy a new GPU" when we can't run the new stuff. Any advice what-so-ever would be great!
