I have tried to make a video > 15 minutes with WIndows movie maker and numerous other video editing software. My maching crashes every time. Does this have to do with the paging file?
I have Windows 7 Ultimate. I cannot even open a video that is 1.5 GB in Windows movie maker. Just opening the file all by itself crashes my machine. I was able to open it in AVS software though. In fact I got 4 clips and sliced my video together. I went to publish it as a single video (24 minutes long) and it crashes my computer. I have 8GB of RAM. I'm just creating a file that is 300-500MB. I decreased my paging file to 1024. Why is my computer crashing? Does the Windows event viewer provide insight into this cause? If so, how do I read it and find out the problem?
