1366x768 or 1280x720 for gaming?

Hi, I want to ask to the community what of this two resolutions are better for gaming, I mean, I know that is a stupid question and u guys probably answer me biggest res is better but I'm always reading about 720p and 1080p and I've never read about 768p so... what of this two resolutions are the best for gaming and performance?

Think about it this way, the bigger the numbers the better the resolution. So, 1366x768 would be higher and better resolution than 1280x720.

Performance? Low resolution will get you more FPS due to the pixel but its not that good on graphics

The fewer the pixels the better is the performance, but of course higher resolutions tend to look better. 1366×768 would have less performance by a small bit, but ie in FPS higher resolutions have some advantages (from my own experienceexperience experience... Tested 768p

vs 1080p, but that's bigger step than from 720 to 768)
Both resolutions are pretty much the same, 768p has ~12% more pixels

1366x768 is better overall.
1280x720 is severely deficient in vertical resolution

What do you have your eyes on? What's your question behind this question? I'm assuming you are comparing comparable monitors within a certain budget? How much? The reason being is that with the holidays passing soon you may be able to get a great deal depending on your budget and I feel that spending more on your monitor is worth it as it's what you spend the most time seeing. It was on sale for $149.99 earlier this year when I bought it and I absolutely love it! It's not on sale at the moment. Nonetheless, what do you have your eyes on?
