Will my fans perform worse using one of these?

Sorry, I feel as if the answer may be obvious... Forgive me if it is, I'm new...
If it makes any difference, the two fans are running into the H80i cooler water block first, and then out of that, another cable will connect to the headers. The cable isn't long enough to reach two fan headers, so I thought one of these would work. Tell me what you think.
