Hello all,

Below the new setup of my computer, there are components being replaced or still open for suggestion (Motherboard and Monitor) but these aren't important right now.

'Prijs' and 'Subtotaal' are the current prices of the products for me.

I will be running a non-ref R9 290 as soon as it comes out and will be overclocking the CPU and GPU.

I would like to know which of the 4 power supplies added below would be the best buy price/quality wise for me:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/360227/seasonic-m12ii-ev... (Sorry for the Dutch site but it is not being sold from newegg.)

Thanks in advance! :)

550W is a little low for this system.
Seasonic G 650W would be great.
Either of the M12II supplies would be fine.
The platinum is unnecessarily expensive, but fantastic of course if you are happy to spend the money.

Thanks for the information guys. @Blackbird, so overclocking is dangerous with a Bronze power supply? I obviously know the Platinum is the best in this case, but I would like to know if it is an absolute necessity, or as Vincent states, 'The best if you have the money'.

Hi - It's between the last 2, the 550 could run the system, but the Evo M12II is a better value, the non Evo M12II is not Haswell certified. So, strictly from a price/perf ratio I'd go with the M12II 620.

However, having a full modular top of the line platinum efficiency model is well worth considering and is what I would choose if I could afford it.

The M12II Evo gives you plenty of headroom to OC. Sys requires 31 +12v amps, the Evo 620 has 48. More than sufficient
to OC.
