Use SSD and delete HDD completely

I use my SSD with OS installed on it, but want to use my HDD as storage. But the HDD still got my old OS on, how do I delete COMPLETELY EVERYTHING from the HDD but can still use it as storage?

  1. Assuming there is nothing on it you want to keep, format it. It will still be the D drive (or whatever).
  2. ^5 +1 what USAFRet said.

No muss! No fuss! No bother!

    In Windows Explorer:
Right click on the drive, select Format.
    or in Disk Management
Or you could go full nuke, and use DBAN
