Do I need to uninstall my old graphics drivers?

ok, so I currently have a Radeon HD 6450. I obviously need a new graphics card. So i recently bought a Saphire Radeon 7850. My question is that since they are both radeons, do i really need to uninstall my old graphics drivers and simply install the new drivers and they will automatically delete the old ones?

In this case they use the same drivers so is not necessary to even install any new driver. Unless you weren't up to date but you don't need to uninstall previous versions.
