Is my cpu bottlenecking my gpu or is it visa versa? The cpu is a a10-6800k and the gpu is a hd readon 7790 with 2gb of memory. If need be I can post 3dmark results

Solution
Was just referring to the fact that you can figure out the maximum theoretical throughput of the components of your system, as well as the data bus of your motherboard and compare the results. It really isn't necessary to do.
You will only experience a bottleneck when your CPU and/or GPU are seriously mismatched. If you paired your current CPU with an R9 290X, your system would bottleneck that GPU. Your CPU wouldn't be able to handle the massive amount of data that your GPU would be sending to it.
That's why I'm saying your CPU and GPU are pretty well matched. Your GPU isn't powerful enough to bottleneck your CPU, and visa versa.

I doubt you are bottlenecking your CPU or your GPU. You can do the math and figure out your exact throughput, but it seems like your CPU and your GPU are pretty well matched.
Why do you think there is a bottleneck in your system?

Ive been playing alot of batman arkam city and I can run it on general high settings with no problems but on extreme it gets a bit framey. so I turned off some cpu extensive features like shadows and reflections exc. and then I could play it on extreme texture qaulity without a problem. Plus my 3dmark scores seem favored towards my gpu.
