So I'm planning to build a gaming rig:
AMD FX 6300 processor
Crucial Ballistix 2X4GB DDR3 1600 RAM
Corsair VS 500W PSU
Lancool PC-57 case
A 7790 equivilant card(another topic)
A motherboard(this topic) which can hopefully overclock
So,living in India and in Kerala,I have the following choices for motherboards:
1.MSI 970A-G43:http://www.flipkart.com/msi-970a-g43-motherboard/p/itmdh4ffmzfazepz?pid=MBDDH4FAEHJBGW5T&ref=e2ce4bcb-0e3a-4e94-aa7a-c7c732e71f53
2.Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3:http://www.flipkart.com/gigabyte-ga-78lmt-usb3-motherboard/p/itmdegddysfvzuqm?pid=MBDDEG8JWXZJAP4F&ref=e2ce4bcb-0e3a-4e94-aa7a-c7c732e71f53
3.Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3:http://www.snapdeal.com/product/gigabyte-ga970ads3-motherboard/1177353?pos=4;48
My questions:
1.Which among the these are best for overclocking(CPU and GPU)?
2.Which will be the best value for money?
3.If I buy the USB 3,will I notice any decrease in performance because of lower RAM speed?
4.Which should I buy?
5.Is buying the last 2 motherboards worth spending the extra money on?
Thanks for replying!

Well, then Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3 seems to be your only choice left... Also, you can find ASRock 970 Extreme3 being recommended many times here on tomshardware forum for budget builds, with FX 4300, 6300 or even 8320...

1. Both MSI 970A-G43 & Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3 are good for overclocking, however, they aren't meant for extreme overclocking.

2. Of course, MSI 970A-G43 is a better VFM.

3. Yes, definately, it will be a waste of your 1600 MHz RAM's power, if you install it on a board that supports max. 1333 MHz.

4. If you have a limited budget of around 5.5k, MSI board is the best.
However, if you really want a great board with solid overclocking performance, you can opt for "ASRock 970 Extreme3", which is gonna cost you around 7.5k.

5. NO

According to this,https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?key=0AgN1D79Joo7tdE9xMUFlMEVWeFhuckJEVF9aMmtpUFE&chrome=false&gid=3,the usbe 3 might be better.Anyway,I heard Asus mobos have VRM issues and they die quickly. Is that true?

To be honest, I never paid attention to VRM or any such minute details... I always believe the more you spend the better you get.

And, regarding the MSI Mobos, I had an MSI Mobo for my Core 2 Duo earlier... I used it for 3 and a half years with No problems whatsoever... Moreover, you're getting 3 years warranty in both Gigabyte and MSI.

Also, the link you gave is showing "File Not Found". Anyway, in Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 the RAM freq. limitation is gonna cost you precious gaming performance. So, it's not worth buying...

Not much, but, obviously, there will be a difference... And, it will also limit you to 1333 MHz. That's not a good idea, in case, you have to upgrade your RAM in future.

Oh. OK. I don't know much about VRM thing, so can't really comment on that :)
