Hello everyone, I have recently been reading a lot of threads about problems with the R9 280X line of video cards.

Just out of interest I would like to know if any of you have this card and whether you have been running it smoothly from the get-go. It would also be great if you could state what card you have as well as if you had any problems and how you fixed them :)

Hopefully this could clear a few things up :)

I have a Sapphire 7970 with OC Dual X , which has the same GPU with 280 x . Card is at a reasonable price and can be overcloced easly to pass GTX 770 and GTX680 unmodded in every situation . But be sure to take a version with a good cooler on it .

I am playing BF4 and happy with it .

At the time I bought this card GTX 770 was more expensive , todays its more cheaper I think . You can go to GTX 770 instead of 280 x ..

I have an MSI Twin Frozr OC edition 280X and I get a max of 15 FPS in all of my games, Including Minecraft. The clock speeds are stuck at 400Mhz Core clock and 333 VRAM clock. And because of that this card is useless.
