After finally setting up my 64-bit Windows 7 computer to dual boot with MS-Dos 6.22, I tried installing some mouse drivers to play Doom. I used Cutemouse, as it was the most recommended. It seemed to work well at first, but upon further inspection I noticed that whenever I move the mouse quickly, the cursor either locks up or goes slightly in the opposite direction. I tried installing the official Dos mouse.com and got the same results. Is this just the way mice are in Dos? The mouse still works perfectly well in Windows 7, but feels terrible inside Dos.

Dos is not high-tech graphics. Try a emulator such as DOSBox.
