Hello
So as I was rendering a video I made on Sony Vegas, during the rendering process at about 1-2 minutes into the render, my PC started making this weird clicking/ticking sound. It's quite loud.
I tried listening to it to try to identify where the sound could be coming from, and I am 70% sure it's from my CPU (Fan) and 30% sure it's my PSU.
I've tried the prime95 benchmark, and the clicking sound occurs.
I tried the FurMark benchmark, but no clicking sound.
While it's rendering, my CPU temp goes up to around 55-65C.
My CPU is watercooled.
So as it was still rendering, I went to the task manager, and set the Affinity of Sony Vegas to only use 4/8 CPUs.
The clicking sound reduced.
What is the problem? Should I be worried? How can I fix this?
thanks
