I have a pre-built HP with poor GPU which is the HD 6450. It is a very low quality card and has a benchmark of 290 points only. I really want to replace it with something better. The PSU limited by 350W and I can't spare for a new PSU. Here are the proper specs for my PC:
- i5 2300K
- 4GB DDR3
- 1TB 7200HDD
- Pegatron 2AB6 motherboard

I am asking anything that is best for 350W. It can be nVidia and AMD.

The fastest gpu you will be able to use is the HD 7750. Anything else will be too much for that psu.

I'm Kinda sure the PSU on HP PCs are replacable (unless you have the mini ones, whcih is pretty much unlikely), The processor can take a lot of GPU power, so I suggest upgrading the PSU and a strong GPU would be the best option.

I am considering to get HD 7750 but now I found R7 250. How much PSU will the R7 250 use? Also how good is the R7 250? I saw that still HD 7750 is better but what is the advantage of R7s?

I don't really think you should bother with the 240 or the 250. The 7750 is a much more viable option.

The intel chip would only take around 100W so you could accommodate a card that's at the HD7790 / GTX650 level without setting fire to anything. But do double-check the label on the power supply and find out the max current or power on the +12V line - that will be your REAL limitation.

HD 7750 uses up to 75W.

R7 250 uses up to 65W, while the 260 uses up to 95W.

Just stick with the 7750.

Thanks. I don't overclock hardware at all. I am just a gamer not an expert gamer where I want to play everything out of the game. I just got that Humble Jumbo Bundle where the games are fantastic but I can't play them smooth at all.
