This will be a rather lower-end gaming set-up. You will be able to play modern games right now but not super well. Future games I would NOT recommend this set-up.

I have doubts, but if you could possibly get something like R9 270, Then I won't.

Even a 270 isn't exactly a card you expect to play games well in 2016. Plus he is running a 2nd gen i3....That's problematic enough to try to run a decent mid-range GPU.

It's OK. Somewhat low-end. IF you don't need to play games at high settings or 1080p, it will work fine for you. The problem is, to get a better card, you might also need a CPU upgrade, and maybe even a PSU at that point. Bottom line is that it is hard to have a dated machine, throw in a GPU and hope for the best. The 7770 will play most games out at low-medium settings at OK frame-rates. It will by no means blow you away.

Well I thought as time goes, CPU isn't that much needed for gaming unlike the GPU. My Instinct could tell that a 270X could run games in Low-Med settings in 2016.

If you are planning major upgrades like that in 6 months, I'd say get the 7770 now, since it will just kind of get you by now, then upgrade to a good GPU after your major CPU/RAM upgrade if you can.

No problem, my friend. I hope it does what you need it to for the next 6 months. Then you will thoroughly enjoy your major overhaul. :)
