I guess what I am asking is if the Raid card is a 6Gb/s card plugged into this PCI Express 16 port but motherboard says it's 3Gb/s supported can I get that card to operate then at 6Gb/s? A SATA 3 (6Gb/s) RAID card will work at 6Gb/s speeds if it is connected to a PCIe x16 slot.
