I have an AMD HD Radeon 7570 and it's not enough for me, I want something with way more power and performance for gaming. Here is a website with EVERYTHING on my computer:

http://h20565.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/kb/docDisplay/?sp4ts.oid=5330773&spf_p.tpst=kbDocDisplay&spf_p.prp_kbDocDisplay=wsrp-navigationalState%3DdocId%253Demr_na-c03668430-5%257CdocLocale%253D%257CcalledBy%253D&javax.portlet.begCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken&javax.portlet.endCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken

I want to use HDMI at 1920x1080 (Not sure if this matters or will change my purchase)
Using one monitor, not 2, 3 or 4. !Windows 8!

I do know wattage is important in this situation so I would appreciate some expert advice on my future GPU. Thanks to all who reply in advance!

I lowered the power supply to 650w since you don't need a 750w for these cards (500w) and that gives you a better selection of cards to choose from. The HD 7850 and the GTX 650Ti are the top cards in this group so going with either one will be the better choice.

This chart will give you an idea of what level the different video cards are on.

I have an internal ATX PSU 460w if that's what you're looking for inzone. I'm not sure how to check it other than that. Maybe I should buy a psu also, but then what or how will I know which one to get, any thoughts?

Power supplies have varying levels of power depending on the manufacturer , some 460w PSUs will have 17a and others 25a and this is what determines what video card it will power.
To be safe if your looking at a powerful video card would be to grab a 750w PSU that outputs around 60a , like this one for example;

This power supply will allow you to look for just about any video card you want. With the AMD FX-8350 and 8gb of ram your system can support a high end video card. The limiting factor will be your budget , so if you can give us some idea of what you want to spend for a PSU and Video Card then we can get more specific.

I'd say about 200-250 $ for the gpu and psu together, The gpu doesn't have to be the best of the best, but I want one that will run new games on high settings. With the psu you sent me I could possibly get a 100$ gpu too, could you find maybe the best gpu for around 100? And it has to be better than the HD radeon 7570 (Looking for a way better card) Thanks inzone.

Those video cards say they need a PCI express 3.0 x16, My motherboard only has 2.0 x16. I'm not to sure on this, also will the psu fit/work in my system?

EDIT: Woops I just researched a bit, it seems that 3.0 works with 2.0. But what about the power supply? Will the 650W be good enough for any of these cards? Also, what's the best card out of them all?

The video cards do not need Pci-e 3.0 they are newer cards that can use the Pci-e 3.0 however they are backwards compatable to Pci-e 2.0 and will work just fine.

Your computer case is a Mid tower ATX and your current power supply is an ATX size PSU. The power supply I linked is an ATX size PSU so it will fit your case.

So, I'm thinking about going with the GTX card, you said it's the best out of the 2. So will the GTX, the power supply and my computer all work fine together? I'm starting to think about purchasing.

if its a store bought computer like dell, hp, acer they most times come with a ''locked'' bios and may not allow you to do that upgrade... you better look around to see if that upgrade is possable. look around here at toms at all the folks that got them walmart rigs and cant get it to go,,, i would hate for you to soend that money for a card juyst to find it cant be upgraded....

ok heres the deal on that ... thoes cxomputer companys do things to protect them and there product from you doing somthing there not ment to do with in there specs. and warentty. it is not ment to hurt you but to guard them from warenty claims do to a part that is not theres or what was installed at the plant.. there are tricks to fool the board in to the upgrade but thats hit and miss big time....

It's easy enough to check , just hit the delete key while booting or if there is an option to enter the bios by pressing f8 on the screen while booting then you can use that. Since the computer comes with a video card already then you can simply take it out and replace it without going into the bios.

After looking at the link to the HP site that lists your computer it appears that the computer can be upgraded since it lists the options that you can upgrade.

i went to the link for hp that yopu gave and looked at the list of things its funny that they give you ---Processor upgrade information--- Memory upgrade information but no video card upgrade info.. so what are they trying to say there with that?? i would think it would say somthing like... a pci-c card with bla, bla, bla, bla, bla , but it dont its like that one card that is in there from them is all you get.... dude its up to you.... good luck

It does have information on the graphics card, and it is only showing the CPU upgrades because those have certain amounts of wattage per core.
So you'd have to be very careful getting a new one considering I have a 460W PSU. My computer does not have BIOS on it, I have checked over it and researched it. Also it is very easy to reset it, there's a small reset button on my mother board. Thanks for your concern though JunkeyMonkey.

What's your budget?

But if you can afford it, the GTX 770 would be my vote.

It might be wise to wait a couple of months though if you can stand to as the market for mid range and top range cards right now is a bit wack. Wait for new stock of AMD's R9 cards to filter through and for the cryptocurrency crash to soak in and you might find that AMD's R9 cards provide more bang for your buck.

(I can only imagine how many mid and upper range GPUs are going to be hitting ebay soon)

Just realised we're talking dollars here... (I'm English)

So for that sort of price, it's probably an R9 270OC I think. Get a version with free bf4.

But there again, I'm not sure how much improvement you'd get on the 7950 for that kind of money so it might be better to wait it out, to accrue funds and let the AMD market stabilise a bit.

I'd reccomend consulting the Tomshardware best gpus for the money guide when the january version comes out. December has been a strange month in the GPU market.
