Looking for a new video card but I can't afford a new power supply too.

I want an AMD Radeon HD 7770 but I also need to upgrade my power supply because the one that I've got right now is of 300W only.

I can buy the AMD Radeon HD 7770 at one shop in my city but it costs 86€ at that's all I've got to spend, I can't wait and save up for more money so I can't get a new power supply too.

What should I do?

what CPU do you have and how much power is IT taking? the 7770 is only around 85W, so in theory your 300W power supply SHOULD be able to accommodate it along with most CPUs (let's assume 125W for the processor). only question is - does the 7770 need a 6-pin power cable to it, and if so does your power supply have it and/or can you get the right 4pin-molex-to-pci adaptor for cheap/free?

Go with HD 7750, this can run with your PSU :

Measured power consumption R7750
1.System in IDLE = 155W
2.System Wattage with GPU in FULL Stress = 188W
3.Difference (GPU load) = 33W
4.Add average IDLE wattage ~10W
5.Subjective obtained GPU power consumption = ~ 43 Watts

I've got an i3-3220 (3.3GHz), I don't know how much power is it taking. I don't know if the 7770 needs a 6-pin power cable to it, and if my power supply has got it and/or I can get the right 4pin-molex-to-pci adaptor for cheap/free.

Yes but if I get the 7750 I will get less performance than the 7770.

Yes the performance will be slightly on the shorter side with 7750. But 7770 will require more power to run.

Measured power consumption R7770
1.System in IDLE = 155W
2.System Wattage with GPU in FULL Stress = 231W
3.Difference (GPU load) = 76W
4.Add average IDLE wattage ~10W
5.Subjective obtained GPU power consumption = ~ 86 Watts

The i3 probably takes less than 100W so for power you're safe. Many graphics cards include a power adaptor so check for it before you hand over the money (ask for one at no charge if the card doesn't include it). And it's free to open your own computer and look at what power connectors you have available. If you have a 6-pin PCIe it'll most likely be labeled as such. If not, see if you have unused 4-pin connectors. Free to check!
