Hi folks,

Got a lot of positive feedback when I built my computer, and my brother is doing the same.

Would be great to get any recommendations for a PC-build in 300-400 price bracket.

GFX are not an issue so just a very cheap card to run video and maybe basic games, but either a sound card or a mobo able to process good sound quality as the machine will be used to make music.

I was thinking AMD Phenom II X4 955 as music making can be CPU intensive.

For Tower I was thinking an Aztec 300 - or equivalent.

1tb storage

8gig RAM

What PSU would you recommend? I presume nothing more than a 450-500W would be needed.

And lastly I really don't know what mobo is a good option. Again something that is equipped for making music at a reasonable price.

Thanks if left response. Take care.

this build has minimum needed GPU for some casual gaming at good fps.
also the CPU is very decent due to its extra cores.
p.s: i dont know any good sound card but one with mobo is also decent external one i added in list you can chose from a 30~ range card.
for ram dont worry for 1333mhz it is as good as 1600mhz just for less price (though only few bucks)
