Heyo,

I overclocked and fried my GPU as such I need a new one. The previous one I was using was: ASUS GeForce GTX 650 DirectCU 1GB. It did extremely well I played Skyrim on Ultra settings with no problems. I also played all my other games on the highest settings with no problems.

So I am looking for a new card that can replace and is slightly better. I would like either MSI GeForce GTX 660 Gaming 2GB or ASUS GeForce GTX 660 DirectCU II 2GB OC what do people think?

Any ideas?

Thanks :)

EDIT: Changed my mind above cards are the ones I'm choosing from :)

Solution
Yeah OCing should be done with alot of care, because your basically burning through the GPU's lifespan alot quicker for the smaller gains. A moderate level to low level of OC is normally recommended to ensure the length of life, but still get a moderate level of performance.

Thanks smorizio for the links however I live in Australia in the middle of nowhere so those links while helpful are not feasible :)

Thanks Tom for that yeah I was not really paying attention to what I was doing and sorta overclocked by 400mhz for both the core and memory clocks while it did work for while it sorta lagged and died, yeah.
