I am running Hyper-V Server 2012 R2, and I can not get the Intel I217V NIC drivers to install/work.
I have Googled it, and as far as I can tell it's because ASUS has some sort of restriction for running that motherboard as a part of a server. But it seems that I can manipulate the .inf file to work with my system.
However I can not get this to work.
I have tried to edit the .inf file and run it with the pnputil -i -a <nameof>.inf as well as running the installer, but no luck.
Quite frankly, I don't undertsand the content of the .inf file I have to change and therefore I am not able to tell if I'm editing things relevant for my Z87-deluxe motherboard.
Can anyone help me?
