I just got a great bundle price for an ASRock Z77 Extreme4 ATX LGA1155 and Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core for only $300 (including tax) at Micro Center.

I had been doing a lot of research on the mobo/cpu combos for gaming (and minor video editing) and felt like I couldn't pass this deal up. Now that I am here, what would you suggest for:

CPU Cooler
Memory
SSD/Hard Drive
Video Card
Case
Power Supply

I love this site and hope that I can get some good advice (as I have multiple times before!). Thanks all!

Well you can't go anywhere if you don't have a budget ;)

Sorry. I am looking at the $1250 - 1500 range. I mean, if I can do it for less (like $1000) and still be able to play graphic intensive games like COD or some MMO's (hopefully the upcoming DayZ), I'd be stoked!

I already have a monitor, mouse, keyboard, speakers as well.

CPU Cooler use an eve 212 best cooler for the price
Memory right now gskill aries ram on sale for 79 on parts picker.
SSD/Hard Drive 120g evo ssd and one tb wd drive. (go larger hd for 80.00)
Video Card for the money now the 760 at 250. or the 270x/280x cards. if you have little more money then go for a 770 gpu.
Case cosair r300 window or the r400 not bad at there 60.00 price point. if your looking for led the nxzt 400 cases come in white and black with led on them
Power Supply with one gpu look at cosair or seasonic 650w unit. if your going to add a lot of fans or led then bump it to 750w to be safe. if your going to run 2 cards in your rig then go with an 850w unit.

Do you have any preference over AMD/Intel, and also which OS do you want? And is the $1250-1500 with or without the mobo+cpu?

I prefer Intel and the budget would include the Mobo/CPU combo (which was $300)

If you plan on storing games on the SSD then you may be better off getting a 250GB one :)

Thanks, I might do that
