Windows keeps asking to select OS to boot

I had two HDD's, each with it's own OS and windows asking me was normal but I reformatted one of them to delete everything so there's only one OS left to boot but windows keeps asking me which one to boot to.

Is there some way I can make it boot to one only? I only have 1 OS right now and it's kind of annoying having to select my OS every time I boot.

I would suggest trying to open your BIOS and going into the boot priority list and see if you can put your primary harddrive at the top of the list.

use 'start' -> run -> 'msconfig.exe'. Look at the 'boot' tab.
You can edit the MBR this way and clean up the wrong entry.

right click on my computer ,or computer, select properties, advanced system settings, under startup and recovery, click settings, at the top uncheck display list of operating systems, and make sure the one you want is selected under the drop box.
