So I just got a little frustrated building my first computer to learn my 2.5" SSD needs a converter kit for the 3.5" desktop port.

I have a Corsair 500R White case.

I guess I could have bought it together as a kit had I known but I can't seem to find the samsung version without an SSD. Can I use any normal converter kit?

COuld someone suggest the right one for me just in case? I just want to make sure it has screws and what not in case I find out I need something else when I finally get this.

It does not appear to be sold at my local Best Buy so I must bu online.

Thank you for your help.

That case already has a mount port for a 2.5" drive
"Drive Bays (x4) 5.25", (x6) 3.5"/2.5" Drive Caddies "

No 'converter kit' necessary. You need buy nothing else.
The SSD uses the same SATA cables as any other drive.

The sales brochure on that case indicates that it has Six 3.5” hard drive bays with 2.5” compatibility (for SSD's)
I suspect that there is a way of mounting the SSD in that drive bay without a 3.5" adapter kit, using the existing screws that came with the case
