Hey, I recently bought a corsair M65 mouse (capable of up to 8700 dpi).
Now I'm using this mouse mainly for fps gaming (BF4),
Could someone briefly explain what DPI / CPI actually is, how it affects the accuracy / precision of the mouse, and conclude with wether "High DPI + Low sensitivity" or "Low DPI + High sensitivity" is the optimal choice for FPS gaming.

DPI is distance per inch, this works by every inch you move your mouse the cursor moves further based on higher DPI.
So High DPI is faster movement, but requires smaller movements to be accurate.
I personally leave the sensitivity at default, change the DPI to where I like it, then adjust the sensitivity if i need to.
Currently at 1800 DPI and 58% sensitivity.
