I didn't wait until the end of the month to buy a PC with the specs i ACTUALLY wanted: Intel Core i5 4670k, 16 gb, GTX 760.

But now i realized i bought a slow AMD 8350, HD Radeon 7870 with 8gb Ram.

I guess i made the wrong choice and bought a terribly slow PC?

............

More about : waste money buying slow amd 8350

Over clock the 8350 and add a second 760.

AMD 8350, HD Radeon 7870 with 8gb Ram is by no means terribly slow...why would you say that???

if it is a gaming pc.....you sure will be able to all games with ease

If I understand you bought i5 4670k and GTX 760? That's a good choice if you have a z87 motherboard. you can overclock and get nice performance boost.

Ok I got it now you got FX 8350 + AMD 7870 is a good set up. I don't see why it is slow. If you have a 990FX motherboard you can overclock and get better performance, is your card OCed as well ?

Then get a 990FX Mobo and OCed 7870. there will be noticeable difference.

Yes. You know ROG overclocked 8350 to 8.67 GHz ofcourse with an insance MoBo and coolers.

you can overclock it to 5GHz easily. That's a lot of improvement. Make sure you have nice PSU. 650w to be on safe side

you psu and mobo both are low end...i would suggest you get a better psu before you start oc ing.

take a look at this: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1550sxxb...

as for your mobo i would personally go for this: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asrock-motherboard-990fxex...

with a good cpu cooler, you will be able to hit 4.6-4.8ghz with ease

Yeah, thanks for the reccomendation. But at the moment i can only OC to 4.2 Ghz. For Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4d, 3DX MAX, would you say 4.0 Ghz / 4.2 Ghz is enough? I only play games on consoles lol but what do ya think

From what i've seen and heard, 4.0 ghz / 4.2 is supposed to be very very fast especially in rendering

well your processor itself is 4ghz.....4.2ghz is nothing for it. "4.2 is supposed to be very very fast especially in rendering" told you so, your build is good enough.
