Does it matter on your other components on what processor you get?

So I'm browsing through pcworld looking through the processors they have and was looking at getting the AMD A10 6800k processor and I realised it doesn't tell you what requirements you need look they do with their other stuff, so I was just curious does it matter on your other components, like do I need to worry bout psu or size or mobo or anything? :)

Ya bro it defiantly will, because fm2 processors like the one you choose goes in fm2 sockets which your mobo has,and its cool we all start somewhere!
Have fun.

Well the only thing you actually need to care about is the socket and ram in terms of compatibility pretty much everything else is optional after that like over clocking features on the mobo, size, colour and ect.
